Adjusting dimensions

There are multiple ways to modify the dimensions of your packaging. You can use sliders for quick adjustments, enter precise measurements manually, and choose between different dimension types to ensure accurate specifications for your project.

Using sliders for quick adjustments

To modify any dimension parameter, simply drag the slider left or right to decrease or increase the value. This allows you to quickly experiment with different sizes and see real-time changes in your 3D model as you adjust the dimensions.

Entering precise measurements

For exact specifications, click on the numerical input field next to any dimension parameter and type the desired value. This method is ideal when you need to match specific requirements or standard packaging sizes with precision.

Selecting dimension types

Use the "Dimension types" dropdown menu to choose how measurements are calculated:

Outside dimensions - Measures the external boundaries of the box, useful for shipping and storage planning
Inside dimensions - Measures the internal space, essential for ensuring your product fits properly
Dieline dimensions - Measures along the flat pattern layout, important for manufacturing and material calculations

Select the appropriate dimension type based on your design requirements to ensure accurate measurements throughout your project.
